JUNIOR DESIGNER

Opening in Seattle, Washington and Portland, Oregon

Spade and Archer is seeking to add a junior designer to our home staging team! Our Junior Designer opening is a training position to grow the new team member into a highly capable staging master that can eventually lead entire installations and continue to make our brand shine

Responsibilities include but not limited to the following:

Responsible for installing home staging projects throughout the surrounding areas
Choosing furniture from our inventory to create complete and well executed designs
Selecting accessories and art to work into the designs to achieve a complete look
Hands on experience in staging the homes and are part of the team you are managing for the installation
Creative growth by learning space, color theory, and interior solutions to various types of homes
Learning to see a space in a varied dimensionality, ultimately achieving the best layout for the staging
Learning to see projects through many different types of lens
Learning the real estate industry and how important the staging of homes is

Qualifications:

Have a four year degree in design or an adjacent field
Have impeccable verbal and written communication skills
Be able to solve complicated problems
Be able to see three dimensional spaces in their head
Have a highly acute sense of empathy
Have an ability to work well with others
Be be able to lift 75 pounds repeatedly throughout a day
Have a love for interior design

Work Schedule: 7:30AM to 6:00PM Monday through Thursday
